About Hyderabad Waste Management project
Hyderabad Waste Management project (HWMP), belongs to Re Sustainability Limited and started its operations in September 2001 as a world class Treatment, Storage, Disposal Facility ( CHW-TSDF) to manage Hazardous waste disposal. The project was awarded by Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation. to Re Sustainability Limited through global tendering and is set up on an area of about 120 Acres.
The facility has Temporary waste stores, Leachate pool, Secured landfill, ETP, Shredder, Stabilization/treatment facility and an Incinerator with 100% power backup facilities.
Transportation of Hazardous Waste is arranged by HWMP with the help of specially designed vehicles.
The facility is equipped with a Hi-Tech laboratory enabling comprehensive analysis of solid waste, water and wastewater. It is well equipped with all sophisticated instruments required for the analysis prescribed by governing authorities. The laboratory monitors periodically the ground water, surface water, air, noise, soil and stack emissions within its premises.
